3-6-2016 at 1:30 pm. Just a problem with the woman working there. I ran pump 3 with cash. It pumped extremely slow. I restarted it 3 times. Still very very slow. The auto shut off doesn't work and I spilled fuel all over. Stuff happens. Inconvenient, messy and smelly but livable. I informed the lady working inside about the 2 issues with the pump. She told me sometime you have to stop pumping and start over. Which I replied I did 3 time.and its still running extremely slow. I said, also the auto shut off doesn't work and I spilled fuel all over. She stopped looking at me, turned her head and said quietly, "Mmhmm". I wasn't mean. Just informing her so that way another customer doesn't run into this pump. Lack of convenience at this convenient store. Listen. I dont care if you hate your job. You are a direct result of how you think. You are in customer service. My information was not ridicule. It was INFORMATION.

I wouldnt mind it being the local cop shop if the officers were more friendly to the general public. A smile and a nod to Shell customers would make Ephrata a more inviting town to travelers. The credit card reader they were using wasnt in the bestv working condition. It wasnt able to read my visa. Never had an issue before or after that one time. They didnt have another input method for visa. If i had a pin and used their atm with fees up to 5 dollars I could leave my items ,my place in line, and try my luck with their ATM. I thought cashiers were always able to manually put in card info instead of turning away a gas purchase. They do have a large variety of foods and beverages. The booths and tables for their delli always seem to be occupied by local regulars. So I asdume the food is good as well as their customer service. Cashier was very sympathetic and nice to me, the 3 stars reflect the many positive attribute. Also very clean.
Nice friendly people behind the counter. Good food!! They have the best hotcase in town and they served restaurant quality food. I eat there all the time.
